About Marshalls
Marshalls is the second largest off-price retailer in the U.S.. With a product assortment very similar to T.J. Maxx, Marshalls offers brand name family apparel, giftware, home fashions, and accessories. Marshalls also offers expanded footwear, assortments for the entire family and a broader men’s department.
About Our Customer
The TJ Maxx and Marshalls target customer is middle to upper middle income shopper, who is fashion and value-conscious and fits the same profile as a department store shopper.
Our Mission
Our off price mission is to deliver a rapidly changing assortment of quality, brand name merchandise at prices that are 20-60% less than department and specialty store regular prices, every day.
Proposals for TJ Maxx and Marshalls will be chosen based on how well the opportunity fits our marketing objectives and reaches our core demographic.
About TJX Community Relations
The mission of TJX Community Relations is to help sustain its commitment to corporate social responsibility and make a positive impact in the communities in which we do business. We build and maintain relationships and develop outreach programs that support or enhance the communities in order to contribute to TJX’s business goals. To accomplish this, we partner with a host of local and national affiliates including charities and non-profits, schools and educational initiatives, professional and cultural organizations, and our customers.
TJX community relations represents our domestic brands: TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Homegoods, A.J. Wright, and Bob’s stores. We support grassroot efforts to national campaigns, empowering individuals through community involvement with groups that enrich the lives of women, children and families in the communities.

The TJX Foundation and the Company's operating divisions focus on charities that help children and families, aid education, assist the disadvantaged and support battered women and families. We donate our time, energy and financial support in a variety of ways that include in-store donation programs, sponsored events, volunteerism and charitable contributions.
